The Story Behind SOVAN
SOVAN International grew from founder Richard Nuanah’s experiences growing up in northern Ghana and teaching at Savelugu School for the Deaf. From walking long distances to school and fetching water from rivers and dams to bringing deaf and hearing students together through sports, his journey helped shape SOVAN’s commitment to opportunity, dignity, and inclusion.
