Human Rights, Social Protection & Inclusion

SOVAN International works to protect the rights, dignity, and well-being of all people, with particular attention to those who face discrimination, exclusion, abuse, or barriers to essential services.

We support children, people with disabilities, women and girls, older adults, and others in vulnerable circumstances through rights education, community advocacy, practical support, and referrals to qualified services.

Our goal is to help people live safely, participate fully in their communities, and access opportunities on equal terms. Human rights, gender responsiveness and disability inclusion guide all five program areas. Each integrated project has a lead program and coordinates support across other relevant areas.
